About UsDo you share my sentiment? When my daughter started school and I have to pay $80 for a small dress, I was outrage. I couldn't believe I have to pay that much for a state school uniform. I could buy a much cheaper everyday clothing complete with designer label! I thought all parents must share the same frustration as I have - why is there only one place to purchase uniforms from. I was proven wrong. I talked to a BOT Treasurer of one school and was told that, speaking on behalf of all the parents of the school, the school does not need an alternative source of school uniforms. What would be your thoughts on this? It is not enough that parents should just keep quite, shoulder the expense, and do nothing about it. I believe that as the parents are the one paying top dollars for these school uniforms, that they should have had a say on the matter. I got told by a principal once that all I am doing is putting money in my pocket! I think his only partly right. If this is my only goal, I would have price my check dress $75 (and still be cheaper than other place) not $50, I will not donate 5% of the sales to school, and pocket all - just for myself! But I've chosen to price this check dress $50 because I believe that parents should not pay any more than $50. Our missionTo bring competition to the New Zealand school uniforms market to lower the cost that will benefit the consumers. Please email your comments to meann@pangbata.com, I always appreciate any comments - positive or negative.
